MEET YOUR COACH
As well as my passion for
coaching, I am also a qualified
counsellor, working with the
humanistic, person centred
model, specialising in
bereavement.
In addition, I also work with
clients on behalf of the NHS,
treating conditions such as
depression, anxiety, panic
disorder and OCD, using
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I am a member of both
BACP (British Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy),
and
BACP (British
Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy).
I am also a teacher of
counselling skills, and I work
with students at Wirral
Metropolitan
College, teaching
counselling skills and theory,
and supporting them towards
meeting their goals of becoming
qualified counsellors
themselves.
This is very rewarding work, it
is beautiful to watch people
grow, and reach personal
fulfilment.
In other areas of my life, I
enjoy spending quality time with
my 12 year old son, that is when
I can tear his attention away
from MSN, and his obsession with
Football Manager! We also spend
many a happy hour following his
favourite football team –
TRANMERE ROVERS (Super White
Army!) all around the country.
Due to all of the above life
is rarely quiet. But I do walk
my talk and create opportunities
to relax! I can be found in many
a wine bar sampling the delights
of New
World wine. At even
quieter moments, one of my
secret pleasures is sitting in
Borders, drinking really
expensive coffee, reading their
books for free, and having
priceless moments just watching
the world go by.
Some of my more maddening
qualities are my eternal quest
for finding meaning in life, my
stubbornness, and my
determination to succeed; all
qualities which are completely
beneficial to coaching clients,
but quite infuriating for those
who have to put up with me every
day…
