LIFE BALANCE HEALTH CHECK
7 CHECKS TO IMPROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Making an honest appraisal of yourself and of your life and taking steps to make improvements can have a dramatic effect on how you interact with others.


Answer the following questions as honestly as you can

STEP 1 - ENERGY

 What do you do that you would describe as fun?
 How much fun do you have? How much flow of natural energy does this fun generate?
 When in conversation, what interesting personal experiences can you share with others?

STEP 2 - WORK

 How much fulfilment do you get from your work?
 Do you live to work or work to live?
 How passionate are you about your work?
 How much does your work allow you to be your true self? If not, what line of work would allow this?
 Have you discovered any of your hidden abilities in your work?

STEP 3 - RELATIONSHIPS

How loving are your "special" relationships?

 How often do you tell your loved ones how much you love them? How do they respond? How loved do you feel in your relationships?
 What (if any) old grudges are you holding? Who do you blame? How does this manifest?
 In what ways do your friends and colleagues support your hopes and dreams? Are you being your true self when you are in the company of your closest friends and family?

STEP4 - FINANCES

 How stable are you financially?
 If you were more financially secure, how would this affect your relationship with your partner? Would you change partners?
 What long term financial strategy do you have?

STEP 5 - SELF IMAGE

 What do you see when you look in the mirror? How do you feel about yourself?
 Do you take care of yourself physically? What can you do to improve your fitness levels?
 Do you dress to enhance your attractive features?

STEP 6 - GROWTH & PERSPECTIVE

 Are you a half empty or a half full person?
 How do you feel about making mistakes? How much do you learn from past experiences?
 How do you feel about making mistakes? How much do you learn from past experiences?

STEP 7 - TAKE ACTION!!

To complete the health check, give each of these areas a score out of ten, and ask yourself......

 Which areas of my life am I most happy with?
 Which areas of my life am I least happy with?
 What are the first three steps I am going to take to contribute to my goal of living a life that I love.

Identify who you can share these actions with. Commit to taking these steps in the next 7 days.


Finally, ask yourself.

 On a scale of 1(lowest) to 10(highest), how committed am I to taking these steps?
 If not a 10, ask yourself what has to happen for this score to become a 10?
